The Around We Go Activity Station is a unique take on the stationary activity centers that are so popular for infants today. While some activity centers have a seat in the center for the baby that's encircled by an activity tray, the Around We Go station is configured to let baby "walk" around the toys instead.
The activities are positioned on a sturdy, plastic table. The baby seat, which is supported by two wheeled legs, attaches to it. Baby sits in the bucket-shaped seat with his feet firmly planted on the ground. He can learn to push off the ground, propelling himself around the table to get to the activity of his choice.
Unique Toys for Creative, Challenging Play
The Around We Go station is also fresh and unique in the activities it offers. It includes many of the favorite "stand-bys" of other activity centers -- bendable stalk toys that encourage tactile exploration, spinning and moving characters that help babies learn about cause and effect. Babies will find these toys entertaining and educational. But we were especially delighted by the magnetic drawing board that includes cute character shapes that let babies make their own, erasable drawings. And the piano keyboard, which has three play modes, features fun, upbeat music that's actually catchy to listen to. It also plays piano tones and cartoonish, animal voices.
Perks for Baby and Parents
We love the ingenuity of the Around We Go station's set up. Rather than keeping your baby stationary like other activity centers, it helps him satisfy his urge to move; he actually can make himself go from one point to another by using his feet. This gives baby vital, leg-strengthening exercises in a much safer and secure environment than baby walkers. There are perks for parents, too: you can lock the baby seat in place in front of the included snack tray to let him snack safely, and the seat fabric is easily removable and conveniently machine washable.
One drawback: this toy is a bit cumbersome, which may present a problem if your living space is limited. However, the seat easily detaches from the table for more compact storage. In fact, when your baby is able to walk on his own, he doesn't have to abandon this toy: simply remove the seat, and he can play at the table independently.
This toy requires adult assembly. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver, as well as three C batteries for the toy piano.

okay toy - big size - toys are a little boring
Takes up a lot of space, which is okay, but even bigger than an exersaucer...the little piano is fun, but the rest of the toys are boring, my toddler doesnt like to play at all with it and my 8 month old gets bored after about 8 minutes....If I could do it over again I would get a stationary bouncer one!

Awesome activity center and very entertaining!!!
We purchased this for our 5-month old son based on the positive reviews on Amazon. We were a little skeptical at first because he wasn't able to fully stand in it and move around, but he seemed to enjoy the banging on the piano keys, tugging/pulling at the other attachments, and could easily spin the seat around to view whatever he wanted. Flash forward four weeks and I do not know what we would do without this activity station. Our son absolutely loves everything about this item and is now even figuring out the added benefits of being able to walk around in it. The piano is pretty friggin awesome and he now knows how to turn the "music sheets" to play different sounds and tunes. The long flexible attachments are turning out to be great teething toys as well and the others seem to keep his attention pretty well. The greatest attributes of this toy are that it is light-weight, compact and it keeps our little busy body pre-occupied for at least 20 - 45 minutes at time which is almost border-line miracle status! Words can not accurately explain how much this thing has helped with the development of our baby as well as help maintain our sanity and assisted in freeing our hands to get things done around the house. I know that everyone's baby is different but this activity center is about as close to perfection as one can expect in a toy.

Highly recommend it
This is one of the best items I got for my baby...He is super active 6 months old who gets bored in a matter of 15 seconds from anything. This activity center gets him busy for at least a couple of minutes while I wash the dishes or prepare food. He beats the heck out of the activities, moves and screams when anything moves in it and laugh. It is awesome.
The only negative point is that it locks, so he can't go 360 degrees continuous...which could be a good part because if he does, then he will be all over the place...another downside is that the four rubber pieces don't seam to connect on the bottom so my baby moves everywhere even though the base does not have wheels.
Overall great item for super smart and active babies.

A MUST FOR ALL PARENTS!!
I bought this for my first Granddaughter when she was a baby about 3 years ago. She loved it. Her baby sister is now using it. Then I bought this as a baby shower gift for a friend. Their son loved it. Then they bought this for their friends, and so on, and so on. I know at least 7 babies that have used this and they all loved it. It's great before they start walking, then the seat comes off so they can use it as an activity center once they become walkers. My son takes it apart all the time and they haven't had any issues of it being easy to put back together. I have a baby shower for a friend at the end of this month and I will be purchasing this again.
Buy this - you will love it!!!

LIFESAVER!!!!!
My son absolutely loved this starting around 5 months, when he could hold his head and trunk up really well. It entertained him for long enough that I could get dinner made, laundry folded, etc. It is easy enough to move that we even took it on vacation with us. We took the seat part off when he started walking, and now he still enjoys playing with the toys on the center console area. Best purchase ever!

It is OK
We have "the original" one of these that came out of Japan (priced 0? or so in 2006) but needed a 2nd when our kids moved into their own rooms. I was hoping that this new devices was better than the "original" one I bought 4 years ago, but it was lacking many of the features of the "original" one. In example, if you tilt this device down slightly, the holder then gets in the way of the on/off button which is a pain. The missing "meteor" feature is also fun for young children.
BTW - Could some smart maker develop one of these with a lense that corrects for the distortion when the ceiling projection has to be done at an angle? Modern Projectors do this - it can't be too hard to do.

helps my son fall asleep
we got this product to help our 2 year old stay in his own bedroom and help him fall asleep. before, he wanted to leave the lights on in the hallway, even though we have night lights everywhere. he would still walk out of his room before eventually falling asleep. now, he actually insists on turning off the lights and is very excited every evening to watch his stars. we especially enjoy the sun, earth, and moon disk. we put it on the one hour timer and leave the room. our son hardly ever walks out his room and falls asleep fast.

Great for putting the kids to sleep!
My kids are 2 years old and loved the ladybug and turtle star night lights. So, I thought this would nice. They love the planet disc!
Pros: Portable, Bright, can be battery operated, has a 60 and 30 minute timer, vivid projections with the ability to project on a ceiling, wall or even floor. Got it for .
Cons: They aren't making anymore discs. Battery mode isn't as bright.
Wishes: I wish it had a place for minidisc/USB/Mp3. If it could play music, it would be near perfect.

BE WARNED
The good part of this toy is that it uses discs so the stars and planets can be changed. To me this was the big attraction when I bought it for my Grandaughter. Problem. They only have two additional discs and they are backordered until the Fall of 2010. In other words they are never going to sell them again. This system is already obsolete. Don't buy this until it cost twenty bucks.

Great Item! Get this NOW!
First off, let me say I was a little bit angry at the price of this. I wanted something nice that could project stars and images of planets for my Home Theater, to set the mood. This is a GREAT product! I tried the HomeStar but it wasnt bright enough so I returned it and bought this. Very bright, and very nice! Only thing, Is that it ONLY includes 2 disks. I wanted to buy the 2 others but on there website it says "Out of Stock, will be in stock around Fall 2010." That upset me, but none the less I can wait. Another thing I like is how this product has a very nice future-istic design. Very clean and crisp picture. Get this now!

This all-new concept in pinball games brings you back to what baseball use to be. You can hit everything - from a single to a homerun - in pinball fashion. Even keep score on real score cards. Plus, with a twist of a knob, your score will appear on the scoreboard. Intricately detailed for baseball fans. Measures approximately 21"L x 22"W x 12"H.
Editorial Review:
Players of this old-fashioned tabletop game find that, instead of playing pinball, they're interfacing with America's favorite pastime. Manually played, Old Century Baseball has no electronic features--just sanded, stained, and nostalgically painted wood. Players pull back the hammer to pitch the steel pinball (there are two included) into the colorful field. A single wooden flipper--shaped like a bat--hits it. Instead of yesteryear's Red Sox or Black Crackers running bases, there are pinball holes or ramps to signify singles, doubles, triples, outs, or grand slams. Players use detailed score cards to keep track of Road and Home positions and points.
The 27- by 27- by 8-inch game requires some assembly. To that end, wood glue is included to attach the backboard, pennant flags, and field walls. Screws mount the exterior ball-return slot and support legs. No batteries required. --Diane Beall

Not very good
Bought this game based on the Amazon reviews which are usually accurate, however, we were disappointed this time. Game arrived today and my son and I played for a few hours.
Pros:
- durable
Cons:
- back popped out of the slots frequently
- took countless swing upon swings just to finally get the ball to rest in a hole (out, single, double, triple)
- overall not that much fun
We are returning it and will try something else

Well Constructed Wooden Baseball game
The overall quality of this game is excellent. It is constructed of real wood and composites. The game play is fantastic. My only complaint with the one I received was that one of my glued ramps and a couple of my glued bumper blocks were not glued in the exact position they were meant to be. You can tell this because it appears the base board (playing surface) is stamped with the location and shape that indicated exactly where the glued piece should be, and if it slides off that position during production, you can tell by seeing the stamp exposed. This doesn't effect game play, but I am a profectionist, and I always take pride in anything I make, and those "little detail" go a long way! I could return it and hope the next one is flawless, but it's not worth it. The ramp that goes to the grandslam and homerun was my biggest concern, but I have been able to hit both. It is not easy, but a grandslam and homerun in my book should be very challenging to achieve.

Very Poor Quality
I bought this game as a gift for my 8 year old son. The "old-fashioned" concept seemed like a great idea. Within 1 day he was disappointed and crying. Among a variety of minor problems, the largest problem was the poor quality of the plunger and especially the bat mechanism. Trust me, it doesn't hold up. The batting mechanism is held together by cheap wood that isn't sturdy and the few metal parts are thin and also cheap. The tiny screw holding the bat firm constantly comes loose and then it strips after 1 or 2 tightenings. Most of the items are glued, making it nearly impossible to even access most of the items. I suggest staying away.

Son loves it
I just got this for my son who turned 9. He loves this game an he plays with it all the time. It's very durable except the back piece doesn't permanently stay snug in its slots but I guess that's ok because it makes it easier to take care of when not in play. If you have a baseball fan or pinball fan this is a nice addition.

Having Fun with Classics Classics Baseball
This game was purchased as a gift for my grandsons' 9th birthday. His uncle and his Dad seemed to have a great time playing the game.
They finally relented and let him (grandson) have a go at it. It appears to be very well made and looks to be authentic in detail. What a handsome and fun game that can be enjoyed by more than one player at a time and by players of different age groups. Great family activity- sports fan or not.
