A must-have for all babies!
This is an awesome toy and I recommend it all the time to other parents.

I love the fact that this toy allows baby to develop their walking skills. Meanwhile, parents don't have to worry about their little one "wandering" and/or getting into to stuff like traditional walkers.

I bought this for my son when we has 6 months old and he is still playing with the table (he's 18 months now!).

GREAT toy!
We actually have the Animal Fun one, not Doodle Bugs, but I couldn't find the one we have on Amazon. Anyway, my 7 1/2 month-old LOVES this thing! She's totally captivated by the fun activity stations and loving to walk around the table. This entertainer is great, because it combines the fun toys and standing up of an Exersaucer with the ability to "walk", except it's much safer than a walker because you can't actually go anywhere. I highly recommend!

Best baby purchase EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
My VERY active 8 month old was bored silly by her exersaucer. She used to cry almost immediately after we put her in it. This is the only toy that could entertain her for long periods of time. She loves the music and running around it. She also loves grabbing a snack as she runs by the snack tray. At 11 months old, she still adores it and crawls over to it to play in it. I would buy this for any expectant mama.

Great when you need 10 minutes!!
Our son stays entertained in this toy for 10-15 minutes at a time, which is a lot for a baby. He has been using it since he was 3 1/2 months old. My only complaint is that it sometimes is difficult to move the seat around the outside of the toy. I love it when I need to finish cooking supper or bring it to the bathroom while I shower.

helps my son fall asleep
we got this product to help our 2 year old stay in his own bedroom and help him fall asleep. before, he wanted to leave the lights on in the hallway, even though we have night lights everywhere. he would still walk out of his room before eventually falling asleep. now, he actually insists on turning off the lights and is very excited every evening to watch his stars. we especially enjoy the sun, earth, and moon disk. we put it on the one hour timer and leave the room. our son hardly ever walks out his room and falls asleep fast.

Great for putting the kids to sleep!
My kids are 2 years old and loved the ladybug and turtle star night lights. So, I thought this would nice. They love the planet disc!

Pros: Portable, Bright, can be battery operated, has a 60 and 30 minute timer, vivid projections with the ability to project on a ceiling, wall or even floor. Got it for .

Cons: They aren't making anymore discs. Battery mode isn't as bright.

Wishes: I wish it had a place for minidisc/USB/Mp3. If it could play music, it would be near perfect.

BE WARNED
The good part of this toy is that it uses discs so the stars and planets can be changed. To me this was the big attraction when I bought it for my Grandaughter. Problem. They only have two additional discs and they are backordered until the Fall of 2010. In other words they are never going to sell them again. This system is already obsolete. Don't buy this until it cost twenty bucks.

Great Item! Get this NOW!
First off, let me say I was a little bit angry at the price of this. I wanted something nice that could project stars and images of planets for my Home Theater, to set the mood. This is a GREAT product! I tried the HomeStar but it wasnt bright enough so I returned it and bought this. Very bright, and very nice! Only thing, Is that it ONLY includes 2 disks. I wanted to buy the 2 others but on there website it says "Out of Stock, will be in stock around Fall 2010." That upset me, but none the less I can wait. Another thing I like is how this product has a very nice future-istic design. Very clean and crisp picture. Get this now!

THIS SUCKS
So after a three time use the 7.00 "toy" doesn't work. Not turning on real cool. Comes with two disks with a bad star display and a cheap earth sun and moon display and a cd with 14 minutes of music, nothing educational about this "toy" nothing worth the money seeing as it doesn't work. If this review would have let me put no stars then it would have five less than what I gave it.

Not very good
Bought this game based on the Amazon reviews which are usually accurate, however, we were disappointed this time. Game arrived today and my son and I played for a few hours.

- back popped out of the slots frequently
- took countless swing upon swings just to finally get the ball to rest in a hole (out, single, double, triple)
- overall not that much fun
We are returning it and will try something else

Well Constructed Wooden Baseball game
The overall quality of this game is excellent. It is constructed of real wood and composites. The game play is fantastic. My only complaint with the one I received was that one of my glued ramps and a couple of my glued bumper blocks were not glued in the exact position they were meant to be. You can tell this because it appears the base board (playing surface) is stamped with the location and shape that indicated exactly where the glued piece should be, and if it slides off that position during production, you can tell by seeing the stamp exposed. This doesn't effect game play, but I am a profectionist, and I always take pride in anything I make, and those "little detail" go a long way! I could return it and hope the next one is flawless, but it's not worth it. The ramp that goes to the grandslam and homerun was my biggest concern, but I have been able to hit both. It is not easy, but a grandslam and homerun in my book should be very challenging to achieve.

Very Poor Quality
I bought this game as a gift for my 8 year old son. The "old-fashioned" concept seemed like a great idea. Within 1 day he was disappointed and crying. Among a variety of minor problems, the largest problem was the poor quality of the plunger and especially the bat mechanism. Trust me, it doesn't hold up. The batting mechanism is held together by cheap wood that isn't sturdy and the few metal parts are thin and also cheap. The tiny screw holding the bat firm constantly comes loose and then it strips after 1 or 2 tightenings. Most of the items are glued, making it nearly impossible to even access most of the items. I suggest staying away.

Son loves it
I just got this for my son who turned 9. He loves this game an he plays with it all the time. It's very durable except the back piece doesn't permanently stay snug in its slots but I guess that's ok because it makes it easier to take care of when not in play. If you have a baseball fan or pinball fan this is a nice addition.

Having Fun with Classics Classics Baseball
This game was purchased as a gift for my grandsons' 9th birthday. His uncle and his Dad seemed to have a great time playing the game.
They finally relented and let him (grandson) have a go at it. It appears to be very well made and looks to be authentic in detail. What a handsome and fun game that can be enjoyed by more than one player at a time and by players of different age groups. Great family activity- sports fan or not.

Bought for a 4 year old's birthday
I bought this for my son for his 4th birthday. Although I will agree with some comments about the blocks falling over and some difficulty setting up the railway, I believe this is a product which works better as a 'guided fun' due to the learning curve of the system. I am a former grade school teacher and feel that the quality of the blocks and expansion units make this my FAVORITE toy for my 4 and 7 year old!

Hours of building fun
This toy has been a favorite for our 2 1/2 year old for months now. We started with the twist and rail and when we had exhausted ourselves with the booklet contained in the set we opted for the rail extension set which has added another dimension to the complexity of our construction. We play with this toy for at least an hour each day.

Great quality & fun for all ages!
My 2.5 year old son loves playing with the old marble tower game that my mother has at her house from when I was a child. So I set out to get one for our house. After getting one of the plastic ones that looked similar to my old one for my nephew and being disappointed with the quality (thinner plastic than the old one and shorter connections that just make it cheap), I decided to give this one a try. Even though my son certainly can't build it on his own yet, he LOVES putting the marbles in and watching them go down. He can't build the plastic one either. The plastic version is MUCH easier to put together, but this one is worth the effort. He will have this toy forever, and my nephew's has already cracked. I definitely recommend following one of the examples the first time you put it together until you understand how all the pieces work. Once you've done this a few times, though, you will be able to put it together pretty easily, but I would think it would take an older whild to do it (maybe 5 or 6?). My niece who is 6 and cousins who are 11 and 13 were very interested in it.

One of my biggest concerns was the fact that it could be knocked over. It is easier to knock over than the plastic version, but my 2-yr-old seems to play fine and only knocks it over occasionally. It's usually time to build a new one anyway. I wouldn't let this deter you unless your kids are really, really clutsy or wild. My kid's pretty wild, but he seems to be calm while playing this.

My only complaint (and the reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5) at this point is that a toy this nice should certainly come with a marble "catcher". The marbles come shooting out the bottom. On carpet or rugs, this is ok, but we have hardwood floors, so it's a huge pain. Marbles go flying all over the room and get lost or stepped on "ouch". Why in the world wouldn't they include a tray or two? Even the plastic version has pieces designed to catch the marbles. I have tried to solve the problem by putting a plastic Elmo plate under the hole where the marbles come out, but it's loud, and sometimes they still fly off. There appears to be a piece made by Quadrilla, but best I can tell, you have to purchase the melody set to get it? Ridiculous.

Bottom line: if you want a marble tower game, this is great quality, and I would definitely recommend it! You will enjoy it for years to come! Appropriate for kids of all ages who won't eat marbles!

My 9 year olds new favorite toy!
Its VERY well constructed, entertaining to everyone around when its pulled out(kids and adults suddenly ALL become know-it-all architechs :-) ) I cant say enough good things about it.
We purchased this set for christmas with the melody composer and the switch set, both VERY good add ons to whatever set you start with. The noise of the melody set is a very interesting twist to it.

Worth the money and great for all ages.
This is a very well made wooden toy that should last forever. We looked at some of the cheaper marble runs on the market, but they seemed like disposable items that would break easily compared to this one. This one is expensive, but completely worth the money. We recently purchased it for our 4 year old son. He is still pretty young so he does need some help with the construction, but he likes to help pick out the right color blocks and loves to load the marbles when it is ready. The instructions included several construction models which gives a lot of variety...and they have a website for more building options. Plus they can be creative and build their own structures as they get older. Great educational toy!

We brought out the marble run at our christmas party, and everyone was having a great time with it. Grandpa was down on the floor helping to "race" the marbles right beside all the kids. It really is a toy that they can play with for years to come. The box accurately states that it is for ages 4 - 99!

smart fit excelent
excellent toy. we bought for Christmas the baby. the day we received it yesterday and tried it and it is easy to install on the tv. even children can do. game is fun. the level of teaching is very good and at the same time enables them to jump, run, duck.

Not The Best But Still Fun For Kids
I like this product. The graphics aren't very great but my 2 year old loves it. She's still a little young to use it but its a great toy to learn with. She loves anything that plugs into the TV and eventually she will be able to understand the game. Worth the money if you ask me but should def have better graphics, we have a 50" TV so it could be part of the problem, I really don't know. But its not a good enough reason not to buy and educational/fun game for my kids!

Fun, fun, fun
My three year old niece loves this! She has issues with certain aspects, but overall figures it out. It is easy for her to use even without adult supervision. She is very independent which makes this toy great! She jumps and runs in place which wears her out!

A toy that keeps interest longer then 5 minutes
The bench is great. My grandson will play with it for hours. He even can use other toys that aren't related to the bench and play with it. The toy is good for their imagination and fun to watch them play with.

FUN WORKHSOP!
Grandson received this for Christmas and absolutely loves it! He's 3 1/2 and has made a robot and a birdhouse with his grandpa and uncle. It's durable and has great directions and places for all the parts and pieces. Santa did a great job!

Worth the MONEY!!
I purchased this toy for my 3 1/2 year old son for Christmas and it is well worth the money. The cool thing about the set is that you are able to build many projects and take them apart and start over. You do need to keep the pieces kept up and put away so they do not get lost but my son and I love to spend time building things. I do wish they gave a few extra nails and screws in the kit, but we have not lost any yet!!

4 year old says it's the best toy
My son received this for his birthday. He says it's the best toy. He plays with it all the time. He really likes building with his dad, so this toy was perfect for him. There is little storage, but with a plastic container it was easy to fix. We picked him up a little toolbox for storing all of his tools, he has quite a collection. We also hung the blueprint up on his wall near the workshop. This will keep it from getting ripped, and it is easy for him to look at. This is a great toy for young Handy Manny fans.

Very Pleased!
My son turned 4 just before Christmas and absolutely loves this toy. It was extremely easy and quick for my husband to put together on Christmas Eve. He and my son have built many projects and have a great time playing with it. It is very sturdy.

VERY easy to assemble, good storage, glides across the floor smoothly when moving it. This made a nice addition to my son's room for quiet time playing. Came with Legos and RR tracks to get us started!

Very pleased...
We purchased this for my son's third birthday, and he LOVES it! It has lots of "lasting" playtime potential...he'll play with it all day if I let him. It's well built, attractive, and the right size for a smaller play space. The train tracks are easy to put together, even for a preschooler. He hasn't used the Lego side much yet, but I figure that will come later. Overall, a great product.

Good but doesn't work with Duplo
I read a lot of reviews for lego tables. I finally picked this one after reading several reviewers state that you could use this with duplo legos. My daughter 23 months old and I don't feel comfortable giving her regular legos yet. We have a 70+ piece set of duplo legos that we bought that she plays with "on" the table but you unless you use adult strength you can't really get them to work on the table. There are some blocks that work but most of the bigger pieces (larger flat ones) will not work on the table.

My daughter is about 32" tall and can easily stand at the table and play. I contemplated buying a chair or something for her to use to sit and play but I don't think it would work given the low sides.

The table is very easy to put together and is well made. It took me approximately 10-15 minutes to put it together by myself. It probably would have taken less time if there was another person to help hold pieces as you worked. Overall great product!

Birthday present for two year old
I bought this table for my son's second birthday and he loves it! He's never really been into trains prior to receiving this table so it's an added bonus to see him become highly interested in something new. Right now the Lego pieces are too small for him (which we knew when we ordered) so he is using Duplo blocks. He definitely needs my help to snap them onto the board but they do fit. It was easy for me to assemble and seems sturdy so far. KidKraft enclosed an info. sheet with numbers where you can reach them if you have difficulty assembling or miss a part. I thought it was good value for the money, although it was a bit on the expensive side.

Very Sturdy
This was a gift for my 2 year old grandaughter. It is solid enough that we don't worry about her hurting herself on it - no sharp corners. Nice storage under the top of the table.

Poorly fitting track makes this difficult to use
I am shocked at all the glowing reviews for this train set. I bought this to supplement my son's Thomas sets, since Thomas is so expensive.

The tracks with this set are very shoddy. They don't stay together well at all. My son would get constantly frustrated with how the tracks fell apart. I bought the Suretrack clips and even with them on every single join, the tracks are still wobbly. The Thomas tracks stay together much better.

I was willing to accept this, because Thomas tracks are so much more expensive until I bought Kidkraft Limited Edition Waterfall Mountain Train Table and Train Set W/drawers. This is a full-size train table and train set for 0. The tracks that came with this set are just as good as the Thomas tracks for staying together. They aren't as pretty or detailed as the Thomas tracks, but they are equally functional. If this cheap set can work as well as Thomas tracks there is no excuse for this M&D set not to.

I unfortunately bought this set ahead of time by a few months so am unable to return it, which is what I really want to do. Sometimes a cheap item isn't worth what you pay for it. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to Thomas trains I'd go with on of the Kidcraft sets before this one. I'm using a couple of the connector/splitter pieces of this set in our train set-up but almost the whole set just sits unused in our garage because the quality just isn't there. It isn't worth it to have my son whining every minute because Thomas keeps derailing off the M&D tracks.

I found this toy's low price tag was totally offset by the need to purchase Sureclips at +shipping. Go with a more expensive set that actually holds together. It doesn't have to be the super-expensive Thomas set.

Wonderful product
We bought this for my son's 2nd birthday. He was so excited to open it and put it together. This is definately a toy that will last a long time. His 7 year old cousin has fun playing with him and so do his grandparents. It's a great toy for all ages. At first he knocked the bridges over a lot but he learned to be more careful and we learned to only make bridges sometimes. He is 32 months now and makes a playable track by himself and plays without needing our help. His tracks are incomplete but he makes a more elaborate one each time. We didn't get a table because we don't have the space and it's nice to put it away when he isn't palying with it.

We got this for my 2yo. It took my husband and I over an hour to put it together. Many of the pieces just did not fit. I was a good thing we had some other Brio and Thomas tracks to substitute. And don't even bother trying to follow the diagram tht comes with it. It's not even close. It was such a pain that once we got it assembled, we decided to glue it to the train table because I didn't EVER want to do that again. Also, the quality of the trains are not as good as the Thomas ones. However, at , it was much more affordable than Thomas. That being said, both my 2 and 4 year old LOVE it and play with it for hours.

great train set for the $, a few construction issues
My son absolutely LOVES his wooden train sets (he started with the 2 starter sets {Thomas the Tank Engine and Imaginarium}) so we wanted to add to his collection and looked into many expansion sets before deciding on this set. for many reasons we love this set: first of all, this set is a great set for the cost!!! and is compatible with his other train sets. Secondly, we love that this set comes with so many actual train tracks pieces and structures, other sets were mostly trees and signs. The quality and quantity of items that come with this set is amazing and we would definately purchase this set again.
But with that said, there are a few construction issues that when compared to other sets; this wooden train set is slightly inferior. First the bridge is not the best design, no matter how you try to support it (we gave up using their wooden supports and use the Imaginarium plastic supports instead)the bridge consistantly collapses. Secondly the wooden supports, don't stay in place and cause the train tracks to fall off, so we no longer use them and just place the majority of the track on the floor; using the wooden supports more for blocks than anything else.
Besides the bridge and supports, I am extremely pleased with this wooden train set and would definately recommend it to others!

Fun, fun, fun!
My 3 year-old daughter LOVES her train tracks. They hold up well to her abuse : ) and there are infinate possiblilities for construction. The only problem we have is that they can be frustrating for young children to assemble. The bridges fall down if the blocks are not placed under them correctly. I think they are great fun for children and adults alike : )

Best train set for toddlers
Durabile, fun, easy to assemble. What more can you ask from a train set for a toddler? My son loves to take apart and rebuild the track. We look forward to expanding his track sets at holidays/birthdays. I can't think of anything negative to say about this set. Even my husband who is very critical of toy craftsmanship hasn't had anything bad to say about it.

Provides hours of fun
We bought this for our son's third birthday, and we could not be happier. He loves it and plays with the track for hours every day. Our 20 month old even helps put it together and can operate the train. The construction is solid. Both boys step on the tracks and throw them in a pile when rearranging them. They have not broken and look the same as the day we bought them. The dvd that came with this set was a hit as well. Both boys sing the title song at random times throughout the day. Not only do the boys love playing with it, but my husband and I enjoy putting it together as well. There are additional kits you can buy, and I love that they are all interchangable. Overall, I think this set is a good investment and sure to be hit with any kids in your home.

Hours of fun!
My 2 1/2 year old grandson just LOVES this train set. He spent 2 hours enmeshed in it the first day his 7 year old brother set it up for him. He is just fascinated with the train going around and around its track, over the bridge and through the tunnel. It is a GREAT toy and worth every penny! Little boys just love trains!!!

Boys Birthday
Was given as a birthday gift to a little boy, turns out to be great for big boys too. Lots of fun and works well manually as well as with the easy to use remote control. Sturdy and durable.

Sturdy train set
My son, who just turned 4, had been asking for a "remote controlled" train set for a long time. We were hesistant to get him a real model train, fearing it would not survive the normal wear and tear he and his younger sister would give it. This train set is very sturdy. It is also very easy to use. For the first few days he used it every day. We were a little concerned that he would lose interest in it after a while and that is what has happened. But I think if we decide to add on to it with additional track and buildings, it will hold his interest more. It does tend to eat up the batteries rather quickly. I recommend rechargeables. It takes 6 AAA batteries total.

Good idea, Bad deal
Well, that was not i expect, it needs a totaly dark room for working well, if the screem is around two meter far from it, it's imposible to see the image cearly, i know, it's a toy, but i was expecting something more, it works, but not as well as i thougth, it is a very good idea, but not a good deal for us, because the screem needs to be near from it or will be almost imposible to identify the image... In my opinion, that's not a big deal...

Awesome for a toy
Got it fast with prime (under 24 hrs)... kids dig it ... works only in complete darkness... battery life ok.

Worth the money
This works well.You need a really dark room.The illumination is thru your v ideo source,so you don't have to worry about the bulb[which are usually expensive...40 --50 Bucks.]It has a built in speaker which is excellent.....It also runs on a battery pack,so it is portable.It is a toy ,but adults will love it.It is well worth the money.look around on the site..It is available at a very reasonable price on one of the sites.

Keep expectations low
Yes it is small, the speaker is loud and inputs were simple. Just do not expect a vivid display under any lighting condition, or lack of for that matter. Also there is a green tint from the lower right that bleeds across the entire image, not sure if that is a defect but really what my children use it for does not seem to bother them.
