My kids love them but they broke the first day
The first day my daughters had these ( 3 and 5) they stopped working. Really CUTE but not durible at all.


Zhu Zhu Pets not as much fun as advertised
I had a feeling Zhu Zhu Pets would not live up to the hype and they certainly do not. They were fun for about an hour on Christmas Day, but have been stored in a been ever since. I'll probably end up selling them soon.


A cheap thrill for little ones
My disappointment is probably magnified that I paid extra to rush ship this "hot" Christmas toy for arrival by Christmas Eve. The pets did arrive on time, and delighted my children for about 2 hours before two of the three pets stopped working because carpet fibers jammed the fly wheels.

The manufacturer does provide extensive warnings about the care and safety issues with the fast moving fly wheels that make the hamsters go, but the truth is that the age range to which these appeal (3 to 5 years old, in my estimation) are too young to really grasp or abide by these instructions unless carefully supervised.


Nice for the price
I bought a set of 3 pets for my 5-year-old granddaughter, and she was thrilled (I felt tempted to tell her that it wasn't from Santa, but I didn't so he got the credit). She carried them all over the house for a few days and put them to sleep for the night. Kids have to be instructed and supervised while playing with it, especially girls with long hair should be reminded to keep their hair away from the toy. Be prepared to stock on batteries.
The toy is fun, I would buy a couple more. I wouldn't buy any other stuff for the pets - they are just good as they are running on the floor and sleeping in whatever beds or boxes the child already has.


happy grandchildren

cute, fun, and a big hit with my grandchildren. Little pricey I think. Sellers know grandparents will pay higher prices, anything for the kids at Christmas. However,the ultimate goal was met- happy grandchildren.
