Works great and is fun if you can keep up with the men. My two sons were to rough with the men and broke a lot of them. Good game, just be careful with the men. They are fragile and easy to lose.

vibrating action, what can i say
The base of this game is really the only thing I needed. I read all the other very helpful reviews. They were all right on the spot about the VERY POOR Quality of the game pieces. I have the old ones made back in the 60's and 70's and the action players were made with some pride and NOT the CHEAPIST WAY POSSIBLE. You would think as technology increases, our games of old would follow that trend! Sadly, toy manufacturers only are concerned for the BOTTOM LINE! Profit, not PRIDE and a well made ALL-AROUND product!!! You would think they would learn, in long end YOU LOSE!! Spend more up front with a great product, and YOU WIN, cause people continue to want more instead of shipping the Crappy Crap Back!!!

Wouldn't buy it again
The football players break very easily, game not made very well.
Sounded like a fun game, but kids got bored quickly with it.

waste of money
The game is visually appealing and we were all excited to get it out of the box. Set up was easy. But game play was problematic. Really the only plays with a prayer of success were running plays. The idea that the quaterback(2 supplied- 1 broke instantly) could toss this tiny foam ball such that it would strike a teamate(=completion)is ridiculous. If it did occur, the chances that you could actually see this happen is even more ridiculous.

Broken from the start
I bought this for all the boys at xmas this year. When we opened it there were 3 football guys that were already broken off their base. We played a few downs and the kicker/quarterback broke when trying to pass the cheap footballs the include with the game. So we played for about 10min and basically 6 pieces were already broken. The manual also is very brief and does not explain how to play very well. The scoreboard was missing the tape to attach it to the playing field.

Do not waste your money on this poorly made game. Everything about it is cheap and I threw it away.

The game was all I expected it to be and more. Very happy with product and with price. Have done price comparison and this was a good deal. Will buy again from seller.

more to love
We play scrabble quite a bit, so when we saw we could get a board with more letters and better bonus tiles-we bought it-lots of fun and I suggest using 9 letters instead of seven. Better words that way and with double the letters, you can still play in a reasonable amout of time---

Sunday will be the first time I use my new scrabble set. I play scrabble with a group of women and enjoy it very much. We get together at a different home each week. I have played with the same set as mine at others homes and we find the bigger board more challenging, love the rotating board, and like the enclosed squares. I wanted to have my own set when it is at my home and, also, if I have company, it is a good game to play.

super scrabble deluxe
scrabble is scrabble, and more spaces, and more letters along with the quadruple scoring squares is just better. the only thing I was disappointed in was the way it rotates. there are ball bearings on the bottom, so it rolls rather than rotates. I was expecting a stand that rotated, like the older version of regular scrabble deluxe. but it is still a lot of fun

This is a Good Buy
This is a great game for children and adults. Scrabble lovers will enjoy the extra challenge of more tiles and higher rated squares.

The game lasts longer too! Its a great educational tool for children, helping them learn new words from others and think about the ones they already know.

The slight downside is its supposed to be easier to turn, but its not really. Thank goodness the tiles lock in so they dont move when turning the board from player to player.

It's no Franklin Mint edition, but it is a really nice product which will continue to look nice for years to come. Worth the investment if you're looking for something unique and a little more professional looking than the original deluxe version. It also has a solid piece board which will not wear out over time from folding which is a huge bonus in my opinion.

My Favorite Scrabble Board
I'm a scrabble geek. I admit it. I bought this and the deluxe turntable edition at the same time and wound up keeping this one and giving the other away as a present. The deluxe turntable edition screamed "cheap" in it's construction (despite the pricetag) and the letters weren't at all secure in their grids- overall really disappointing. However, I LOVE the look of the tiles and board on the Onyx edition, the roomy velvet pouch and the scorekeeping book. REALLY LOVE how the tiles sit securely on the board, the lower profile and the lazy susan feature. This one was the "keeper" for me! I've gotten lots of compliments on it from fellow scrabble fiends as well.

Very pleased with game
After reading lots of reviews both good and poor I was not sure what to expect when I purchased this game. I was not disappointed and although it is not as well constructed as the old style turn table game, it works great. The game board display lines up with the grid, and I think the raised plastic edges for the tiles is plenty high enough. The rotating rollers work great, the tiles are printed instead of engraved but I don't expect them to wear off. I didn't get a glare from the silver background of the game board like some others stated. The board is not small and you need a big table to play, and it requires a lot of space to store the box. For what I paid its great!

Serious Scrabble
If you like Scrabble, you'll love this board. It rotates so it can face each player during their turn. Also, there are individual depressions for each space on the board, so accidental nudging won't displace your tiles. And it just looks great!

Scrabble player
Nice look but cheaply done. This game is very expensive for what you get, I paid at Borders and feel like I overpayed. The black and silver look nice but the board is cheap plastic and the turntable underneath does not rotate very smoothly. I have played some older versions of deluxe scrabble where the board is raised and when you turn it it will clear your letter rack but in this version (Onyx) you need to make sure your letter rack is far enough away from the game or they will get knocked over when the board is spun. The board spaces is a sticker and it is not smooth, there are bubbles and it is not applied straight. Overall we enjoy the look of the game we would just prefer a little bit better quality or a more reasonable price.

Great Product
I really like this edition of Scrabble. It is very durable. The pieces are wood, the board is strong plastic and everything fits in one piece. There is no score-keeping equipment but all you need is a paper and pencil. Great buy if you want it to last for many years.

Great Game!
My family and I absolutely LOVE the Scrabble Diamond Anniversary Edition. We had the older cardboard version, but the pieces always slid all over the board when we played. Now, the pieces stay exactly where they are placed. We also love the fact that everything folds right up into the board/case for travel. It was definitely a smart purchase for us!

Why Did You Do IT!!
Although I enjoy using the set, I wonder why your company decided to change the colors of the valued tile spaces? Triple word score has always been red. double pink, triple letter score deep blue, and double letter pale blue.

I play in tournaments too, and all that would be needed to use this set would be "protile-like" tiles (those without being able to feel engraved letters in tiles). Putting these type of tiles in would also have been appreciated.

Love Scabble Diamond Anniversary Edition
I love the Diamond Anniversary Edition of Scrabble. I love the portable case. I can carry it everywhere. My friends who play with me love it also. I live in a senior building and my friends get together almost every day to play. We love how it turns so easily while we play. We have spent many exciting hours playing scrabble on this wonderful gameboard. Oh, and by the way it has increased my vocabulary. Praise God. The price was great too.

Love this version of scrabble, is durable, sturdy and convenient. I have 3 kids, 6, 8, 12 and we all play and enjoy it. The 2 drawers to store the letters and other pieces is convenient and also the pouch to store the letters. Also this board has wheels and you can rotate the board easily. Will recommend it to everyone.

Not bad, but could use some TWEAKING for safety!!
Just wanted to send a review on this item. A great friend of mind has a child just 2 weeks older than mine and she purchased this for her son. While I LOVE the ability for the child to spin around the stationary center, she did mention to me that quite a few times her sons tiny fingures got stuck in the dolphin spinner that caused him to cry in pain and discomfort. She did contact the company and they replaced it with something else less dangerous. Please keep that in the back of your mind that it could potentially cause you or your son/daughter some trauma to their little fingers when playing!! otherwise, a pretty neat invention!! Great Product
I bought this activity station for my grandson and he loves it....my daughter can get ready for work while he plays in it and doesn't cry for her. It keeps him occupied and he loves all the different activities, I get a kick out of watching him play with the different toys.

We bought this one for our daughter when she was 5 months old. She just loved it. It gave her the mobility while still keeping safety in mind. I dont believe in using a moving walker, it is just too unsafe. This one is great. She loved going around the center piece, which is also awesome. After she started walking, we took off the side moving part and she is now 2.5 years and still plays with the center part. Now we will be soon using it for our son. So it is the best investment we have made in toys.

not what i expected
it was very easy to put together but my 7 month old isnt very entertained by the table he wants to get out of it after less than 5 monutes and I only had this toy for a week. If you have carpet I wouldnt recommend it its hard for it to rotate. I only give it 2 stars because it was simple to put together but as far as the toys on the table to entertain a child they could of been better.

Wow this thing is fun
This helo is great fun. It's not for people who don't have good hand eye coordination or who don't understand how helos fly. But I started with this chopper and had it flying well within days. Definitely get the training kit to protect it from damage, and be prepared to replace some parts. I've crashed it about 80-100 times and just had my first two breaks: I bent the blade grips and snapped one of the little ports the trainer plugged into. The latter was fixed with some tape, but the former will need new parts. Well worth it!

super-durable little RC for beginners
Perfect if you're just starting out.

This thing is small: slightly bigger than a man's hand. This is a big advantage, since if you're just learning how to fly these things (heck even if you've been flying them for a while), you're gonna crash it often. But since there's not much heft to this thing, it's actually hard to damage.

A lot of folks when they get into this hobby buy a much bigger and more expensive helicopter, but they just end up crashing them all the time in the beginning, as everybody does. Even if money's no object for your, that will still mean you're going to be heading off to the repair shop after nearly every flight.

But this one -- man! You can smack it into walls, trees, chairs, etc., and it usually doesn't get damaged. If it does, you're looking at or to replace this part or that.

Another advantage of starting with a small one like this is that, once you get your Ming vase out of the way, you can fly it indoors. With the larger ones, you're going to have to wait for a calm day. And when I say calm, I mean, eerie, Twilight Zone levels of stillness.

Trust me: start with the tiny ones. You'll know when you're ready to graduate.

Challenging, but fun!
After enjoying the MCX so much, I wasn't sure if I should buy the MSR, the CP Pro, or jump straight to the Blade 400, which will be my next heli. I almost went with a CP Pro since the price is close but you get a good 6 channel radio with the CP. Thing is, you get a better 6 channel transmitter with the Blade 400, so the MSR BNF still seemed like the most cost effective stepping stone.

At first, I thought I made a mistake because the MSR was much more unpredictable than the MCX, and I thought the problem was partly the imprecise basic transmitter. But after some practice, most of the the unpredictability was due to me learning single-rotor flight characteristics. The basic radio is definitely too vague and clunky for the MSR, but it is adequate.

I find the MSR a little frustrating because it can (and often does) go way too fast for indoors, but at a mere 0.8 ounces plus 0.2 for the battery, any wind blows it away. It's a great little performer without a reliable venue.

Great: Maneuverability, speed, overall durability, single rotor, sounds angry, extra tail rotor and mixing flybar, comes with two batteries (uses one at a time) and a great 4-battery charger with a wall plug.

Frustrating: Unstable in a light wind, too sporty for the basic transmitter (precision control is much better in the low rate mode, but then it lacks the control throw to move any faster than an MCX), flight time per battery is shorter than the MCX even with the 120mAh battery.

The MSR's surprising, MCX-like durability was definitely the best reason to choose it as an intro to single rotor flying.

Tons of fun, but beware of the tail boom assembly.
This helicopter was so much fun..... until a very weak crash dislodged the cap of the tail motor.
I only had about two hours of flight time and just a few very weak crashes before this happened.

I researched this and found that this is a very common problem with the mSR.

If you buy this Heli, it will be lots of fun but be prepared for the worst and keep an extra tail boom assembly on hand (EFLH3002).

Great "Next Step" Heli
I love this helicopter. It's probably not the best starter heli, but is an outstanding step up as a second heli from a Blade MCX or MCX S300. It's fast and mine has had no problems and has survived a bunch of crashes. Once you get this, though, you will want to get a DX6i or similar controller to be able to adjust the settings more precisely. Highly recommended.

Didn't work
We received the toy quickly and in pretty good shape, but it didn't work. We tried everything to get it to work, but it never did. We even hired an IT person to come over and see if there was anything that we could do. I still have the product, but don't know what to do with it and feel like I wasted my money. I have never had this problem before.

Needs to be more users friendly
My husband and I bought this toy for our daughter for Christmas this past year. She is about to be 4yr old and had not trouble understanding how to the game worked. However, she is have lots of trouble to use the controller with the tv. the instructions say to point the controller at the sensor but even when you do that you are having to travel from one side of the room to the other just to get it to work. my daughter gets bored after a few minutes because she just has to much problems with it.

Will not work for many, I suspect.
My daughter received this toy as a Christmas gift. Our family owns game consoles including a Wii and I am a computer professional and understand generally how the technology is supposed to work.

I was unable to even use the wand to select an activity from the main screen. Sometimes, the wand would track well for a few seconds. Then it would freeze up. Then it wouldn't move. Then it wouldn't move where I was moving the wand. Sometimes the button would work. Sometimes it wouldn't. The vast majority of the time spent with this toy was wrestling with the controller without success. Tried it in a room with overhead lights, with no lights, close to the screen, far from the screen. No luck.

I think that kids toys should almost play themselves. A kid should easily be able to achieve at least a modicum of success in playing with a toy. IMO, this toy represents only frustration and disappointment to the kid using it.

Some reviews here have said it worked and was wonderful. Good for them. Most of us posting reviews seem to share the same opinion that this toy is essentially worthless.

Great Idea but not quite there
My 5-year old received this for Christmas. We finally broke it out of the box and hooked it all up. Despite what someone mentioned about having a new HD TV and the cables not working, I have to disagree. Our TV is 6 months old (new LED one), and the Splatster hooked up just fine. The colors on the chords don't match the tv, but I figured it out. We used this toy for maybe 10 minutes. I used it first to show my son how to use it but found it very difficult to get it move as I wanted it, select what I wanted. Once I finally selected what I wanted and was able to color freely (I made no attempts to actually draw something; I just scribbled), it worked ok, but then when I wanted to change the brush, it was difficult to get where I wanted. I then handed it over to my son who had a lot of the same trouble I had except to a larger degree. At one point it seemed like the button was stuck but wouldn't select anything still. My son finally gave up. I attempted to close out what he had managed to draw, but I gave up and turned the machine off manually. My son wants to return it, I couldn't agree more with him. Someone mentioned glares causing a problem. Well, the tv in our house is located in a room with a few windows. I had the blinds covering where the sun was shining most, but I'm not going to make him use this only in a dark room. We have a Wii that works just fine in this room. Fisher Price usually has better toys than this. The majority of the reviews on this toy are negative. Too bad. It's a good idea so we don't have to clean up messes, but it just doesn't work like it should. I have no idea how a 3-year old would be able to use this. My 3-year old would have thrown the remote to the ground out of frustration. I would not buy this and do not recommend it.

Very Disappointed
Our girls got this for Christmas. We hooked it up and it wouldn't even work. We couldn't pick up the paint brush at all. We read all of the reviews and tried dimming the lights ect... ect... We tried everything and over an hour later apologized to the kids for buying them such a horrible toy for Christmas. What a disappointment.

Perfect for younger Lego Lovers
This is the perfect Lego set for younger builders. My son is almost 4 and loves his Legos, but many of the sets are very difficult and intricate. This set offers something above the basic block box without being overwhelming. It comes with lots of wheels (aren't they the best part for little boys???) and many options for building really unique and engaging vehicles. Highly recommneded!

Great Way to Introduce Legos
This is an excellent lego set. We got this set for my 3 year old son a year ago and he is still playing with it on a daily basis. The set is geared towards younger children and does not have as many small pieces as some of the other sets. My son and his friends have gotten a lot of play time out of these trucks and they are durable. They don't fall apart on him when he is trying to play. Also,the instructions have pictures of several other vehicles or variations that can be built with this set. My son cannot yet build these legos on his own but he is not far from it. He has watched my husband build and change the sets several times and will comment if you put something in the wrong place. He has built the steam roller on his own with some verbal instruction. The only problem we have had with this set is that the black piece that used to hold up the bulldozer shovel doesn't hold it up well anymore. The price on Amazon is terrible. construction set
I bought this for my 4 yr old son. He really enjoying playing with this set. There are lots of pieces & colorful too. When the trucks were build, he had a blast driving them around!
He has lost a lot of the small pieces & that is the only complaint I have. So, next time I will get the "bigger" ones. The duplo sets, I feel are better for my son.

Great gift!
I bought this for my nephew as a get-well-soon gift, and he loved it! They threw in some extra blocks so the kids have something extra to move around with the equipment. He hasn't stopped playing with it since.

Still the best
My kids loved Legos and now my grandchild loves Legos! He is three years old and has fun constructing fabulous things with his dad who played nonstop with Legos as a child. Makes kids think and create.

Great Lego Set
My son is a Lego fanatic and a Star Wars fanatic! This was a huge hit with him!

A bit disappointing
I was disapointed. Though the shuttle has gear opening doors,it has space for only two minifigures(pilot in front and Nute Gunray in back.). Gunray has a little chair that goes in and out of the shuttle. That and the gear doors are the only cool features in the entire set. Kind of a rip off if you ask me.

10 year old loved it!
My 10 year old loved this lego set. The directions are easy to follow, my son did NOT have to ask for help. He put the shuttle together, on his own, within an hour. It has a sliding rear door, which was a big hit. It comes with 4 men, which is nice, as some of the sets only have 2 men. This is a fun lego set and a great price for what you get.

great kit for the price!
My 5 year old son loved it. He's been looking at for several months now. He's really into legos and star wars and this is 10 lego kit that he has put together, so he was able to do 95% of it himself. I just checked on it every once in a while to make sure it was going well. He is having a good time playing with it and it has stayed together relatively well while it is "flying" through the house.

Needs adult help for the younger child
I got it for our grandson who is a bright six year hold. He loved the concept but needed our help in putting it together.
Too many small pieces!!
We are missing quite few pieces which makes the building very frustrating.
