Step2 Neat & Tidy Cottage

Kids Love It
We bought this toy for our daughter's second birthday. We have it set up indoors for the winter in our play room. Overall, it is a great toy. She and her almost 5 year old brother love playing with it. They've played for it very nicely for hours and hours on end.

The features of this toy are really cute. They love the mail slot, shutters, doorbell and phone. It is not too big and I like that it has a floor and open sides. It allows me to see inside more easily to keep an eye on them.

The reason I only gave it four stars was that I had some minor problems with the assembly. Some of the spots for the screws were not pre-formed, and it was difficult to get the screws to pierce the plastic. I also had to re-direct the screw that secures the table three times so it would actually catch. The roof seems a little thin as well, but the sides and floor are thicker and well made. I like the little details like the roof shingles and stone floor.

Overall, it is a great little playhouse for two smaller children. The kids love it and what is more important than that? I love that it is made in the U.S.A. as well. It would get five stars if the roof was a little more sturdy and they did a better job on the pilot holes.

The playhouse was a big hit with our new granddaughter she loves it. Was real happy to have it delivered in time for Christmas.

Awsome Playhouse
I purchased this Tiny Cottage for my 2 year old twin Granddaughter's Birthday. I can't say enough about how great this purchase was. The price was right at Amazon and delivery was fast and on time. Assembly is easy and the Cottage itself entertains the girls for hours and hours. What else can I say?

Purchased for my 2 year old twin boys
We live in the midwest and I was looking for something to keep my boys occupied indoors during the cold winter months.

I just received this item today. I ordered it this past Saturday and was told it would take 2-3 weeks for delivery. I was fine with that and was very suprised on Tuesday when I received notice that it was being shipped. I have a another playhouse outside that I put together myself so I was fairly confident setting this one up would be just as easy. It took me about 30-45 minutes to put together. I do advise using a drill verses a standard phillips screw driver. I think if I had to use a screw driver I'd still be working on it. My biggest problem was trying to remove the back off the phone to install the batteries. The screw is very tiny and I ended up using a knife.

When it was delivered I put just the bottom in their playroom until I could put it together. They had a blast just playing in that and I can't wait to see their faces tomorrow morning.

Overall I feel this was a good purchase and I'm hoping they will enjoy it for years to come.
