My little guy loves it!
I bought the Radio Flyer Sport Coupe a couple of months ago when my son was about 7mths old. Honestly, I initially was going to purchase this car for looks! But after reading reviews and comparing prices. I decided that for the length of time that he could use this car, it's worth the extra $$. Plus it's way nicer looking than anything else out there. As soon as it arrived I started putting it together. Instructions are fairly easy and pretty fool proof. My son just sat in his walker waiting patiently, but the second I put him in he grabbed the wheel and had a huge smile on his face. Prior reviews mentioned the car not having a seatbelt, but it does now and yes you do need it! This car was a lifesaver over the Summer! I also have an 8 year old that plays softball and we are ALWAYS at the park. Now the baby gets to cruise around the fields in style and I don't have a fussy baby stuck in a stroller. PLUS! 8 & 9 year old girls love pushing little babies around! The reason I said you need the seatbelt is because of the side door that has the ability to open and close. He was not buckled in and leaned over the side trying to reach for something and kerplunk! He rolled out! Luckily onto carpet since we were indoors, so he was fine! Also, some people complained about the wheels. They are plastic and do not have any traction, but we've done just fine at parks over dirt, grass, hills, concrete..etc.

Now...my only complaint! And I'm not sure how this happened, but from one day to the next the left front wheel started to wobble. I noticed the part where the bearing is may be a little loose. Not sure if this just happened on it's own or if the older kids who thought it would be fun to push their 3 year old little sister a little too hard around the park did it. Either way, I need to see if I could tighten the wheel. All it does is wobble, the car still works fine and we are still using it.

So other than that! Love this car! As a matter of fact, I used it earlier this evening while my daughter took her dog for a walk. It gets "oohs and aahs" from onlookers everytime.

Great toy car. My son has gotten numerous hours of enjoyment out of it. The radio is great as well, he has his favorite song and will skip the others to get to that particular one. It is over two years old now and has held up to him crawling into it Dukes of Hazard style and to him leaving it out in the weather. Can't go wrong with this Radio Flyer.

the happiness on the babies face is worth it
bought this for my nepher in fremont, i have not seen hiom on it, but received some photographs of him enjoying it. the happiness on his face just makes it worth it:). he seems to be totally in love with it, so must be great

Shoddy Craftsmanship
I just got this for my son and usually love Radio Flyer items. However, I found this to be quite cheaply made. Here are some issues: The wheels swivel, but they are so flexible that they even collapse underneath the car from time to time. I was exited about the fact the tray that keeps his feet in the car, but when it is extended, it rubs the wheels making it quite difficult to move at all! Also, the door comes off almost every time my 18 month old son opens or closes it. It is really cute and my son still likes to get in it, but as for functionality, it is awful!

Fun car for your little one
My son received this when he turned 2 years old- he LOVES it. Especialy when his older sister pushes him around the house with it. The handle is adjustable so kids can push one another, or adults (after the handle is pulled up). Easy to assemble, great little ride for 2-3 years old. My daughter is 4 and it is a bit snug for her, and she is average-sized. Expensive, though...wait for a sale...I bought this at a very discounted rate...under .

If possible test first
Well, my son (who is almost 3) loves to bounce on this one zebra type toy, but he is too big for it. I thought for sure he would love this toy. He was very excited, at first. We have had it for over a month and he rarely uses it. I think he may use it more when he gets older, but for now it is just sitting in our living room mainly collecting dust.

Daughter loves it just like I did as a child
This horse is perfect! My daughter loves it and she really enjoys the sound. It was fairly easy to put together (keep in mind some steps really need two people to do this) and it's very good quality. I had the old school horse when I was a child and I loved it too. There was no question that my children would have one.

We were worried that we wouldn't receive it in time for her birthday and it arrived sooner than communicated. The hardest part was finding a place to hide it before the party!

My 2-year old granddaughter loves it !
I bought this for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday and she loves it ! I live in another state and haven't seen it personally, but I had one as a child and my sister and I rode that thing till we were at least 7 or 8 years old ! My daughter says my granddaughter hasn't been off it since they put it together. A couple hours before bedtime, they now have a ritual of covering the horsey with a blanket cause he has to go nite-nite too. Absolutely would recommend ! Price on Amazon was also the best I found.

BEST SPENT TOY MONEY YET.
The Radio Flyer Liberty Spring Horse with Sound is the best toy we have spent money on. We bought this for Christmas for our 16 month old Grandson. We though it might be too big for him at the time. But he can ride it just fine and he loves it. Someone does have to pick him up and put him on it and take him off. His feet don't reach the stirrups, so adjustable stirrups would not really make a difference at his age and will take a long time to outgrow when he can reach them. It has the plastic seat which is even more durable. Do buy the horse with the sound. My grandson rides much longer and enjoys the ride more when the sound is on. It has 2 volume levels and can be turned off. Plus he now makes the whinnying sound anytime we go somewhere and see a horse. This horse is loads of fun. When visitors see our grandson ride it, they start talking about buying one for their kids or grandkids.

She love's it!
Our daughter loves her horse! We love that there is an on/off switch for the sound. It was VERY easy for my husband and I to put together. I had a similar one when I was a kid, so this spring style horse really brings back memories for me and my folks! We're very happy with this purchase.

Fell apart after a few uses!
The only reason this is not getting 1 star is because it was fun for the year that it held together for. I purchased this for my 2yr old a year ago and he loved it. We had it for a year and maybe used it a few times a month and not at all in the winter. This spring we brought it back out and after a few uses the steering bar for parents started to break, for some reason I could barely steer the bike any longer then the wheels started making loud screeching sounds that WD-40 could not help. Then, while it was sitting untouched in the garage it fell apart (I read a few other reviews that had the same thing happen)! I was shocked! The whole bike is in pieces! The front wheel & handle bars fell off. Thank goodness my son wasn't on it at the time! We were not rough with this bike at all, we take very good care of all of our son's toys and I have never had anything like this happen before. I would not recommend buying this product, the quality is just so bad. For the money it should have lasted a lot longer.

Doesn't teach child to ride
The trike is poor quality and the front wheel functions to allow the trike to coast. Which prevents the petals from turning when the trike is in motion. This feature has confused my child and even though we have owned this trike since she was 18 months old she still doesn't know how to petal and she is 3 now. It prevents your child from learning how to alternate legs because they don't have to. I would NOT reccomend this to another parent because of this feature. Also the coasting front wheel means THE CHILD HAS NO WAY TO BRAKE AND SLOW DOWN when on their own. This is a problem if your child encounters a small hill (or in our case steep driveway).

Nice trike for a 2 yr old
We bought 2 for our Boy and Girl 2 yr old twins, having the handle that allows you to help them navigate has been very helpful. The bike seems to be very sturdy, and they are enjoying them very much.

Excellent value for the money
The Radio Flyer Deluxe Steer & Stroll Trike is an excellent value for the money.
Our 2 1/2 year old daughter loves it. During a recent vacation it replaced the stroller and it was a lot more fun for her and us than having her sit still in the stroller.
The trike is easy to steer with the push bar, which is high enough even for tall people and easily detached for transportation.
Assembly was easy enough, but I am somewhat experienced. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.
The wheels started squeaking after a few days but a little WD40 took care of it.

The only thing missing is a break. As long as we push her around there is no break necessary, but as soon as she is old enough to ride the trike without our help we will have to see if it is save enough without a break or if we have to switch to a different ride.

good old fashioned fun
I think this was a good value for the money. Shipping was very reasonable and prompt. We received the wagon in about 5 days. The wagon is sturdy and can be used for play as well as chores around the house. I had a wagon very similar to this one when I was a kid. It held up well and my brother and I played with it a lot.

Radio Flyer Classic Red WagonWhen shopping for a "little red wagon" for my needs, I wanted to know what the dimensions of the inside of the wagon were. This I could not find. Here are the ones for this wagon: INSIDE OF WAGON (the carrying area)-- Length 33 1/4 inches (tight fit); Width -- 14 1/2 inches (tight); Outer Length of wagon --36 1/2" (outer "lip to lip" of wagon); Width -- 17 1/2" (outer "lip to lip" of wagon); Whole Length of wagon from outer edge at rear to tip of "axle" -- 38 1/2 inches (Tongue, aka: handle, folds nicely under wagon -- total length with tongue extended approx. 73". The sides are 4" high.

I am a 63 yr. old woman with several health issues. I assembled this myself (easy to do if you like assembling things like jigsaw puzzles, etc). I believe the materials in this wagon are very good and durable (of course, time will tell), almost all metal except for tires (ditto). These are not the air filled tires of some versions. The tires are large and solid (heavy) and would appear to take a fair amount of wear. I have not found any sharp areas that might prick a child. I love the extra length on the handle as bending is a problem for me.

I have already used this for hauling my groceries into the house from my vehicle. I frequently buy gallon jars of water. This will carry the ten jars in with a little room left over (not much). They say a gallon of water equals 8 pounds. So this carries a fair amount of weight. If I am not buying water, this carries all of my groceries. Sometimes I put a plastic container in it to enable me to stack more groceries in one trip. I also use it for carrying my Chihuahuas on walks. I put their crate (1 crate) into the wagon and off we go. It moves easily on sidewalks. Don't know about any other surfaces. I use it to move things inside the house from room to room (medium sized containers full of pictures that I am scanning to computer which are too heavy for me to carry; larger plants which I relocate from time to time, things that I move from storage and back again, I have even moved an older tv on it -- setting it on plywood on the wagon to do so, etc). So, I am very pleased to have this as it enables me to stay a little more independent and not have to rely upon help from others as much.

I think parents would like this for their children. However, the over-sized air filled tires may work better for long walks with children, depending upon the surface you are traveling (then you might need to be concerned about the tires going flat???). I like that this is almost all metal. I keep it on the back porch out of the weather. All metals exposed to the elements will eventually rust. The paint job is excellent and appears reasonably durable. I gave this 4 stars for durability because I have not had it long enough to determine this but it appears to be very durable.

I would like to point out that the customers who complain about the smell are absolutely correct! The tires will smell up the whole house quickly if inside for too long. After a while, I cannot stand the smell in the house. I am hoping the smell will dissipate after a while. I feel this wagon is worth keeping ..... but not inside the house. I have enjoyed this so far. I hope this helps someone trying to decide which wagon to get.

great product!
My 1 1/2 year old Grandson would live in this thing if he could. He pushes it, pulls it and rides in it. It is very sturdy and well made. My husband is also using it. He is laying ceramic tile throughtout the house and the wagon gets a lot of use taking out the old flooring. I have no buyers remorse with this product. Should last us a long time.

I love my little red wagon
I did not buy my radio flyer wagon as a toy. I am using it in my garden. It make hauling pots, plants, tools, and bags of dirt a breeze. Good turning radius, however, believe the one I had as a kid turned better. Certainly am glad I bought it.

Good wagon
It is a good wagon but I wish the back could be higher. I did not pay attention to this issue before buying. But still a good product, my daughter likes it!

Little Red Wagon
The wagon was bought for my grandson. We looked at the different wagons available and based on the construction, the tires, and the depth of the cart, we decided on this one. The fully pneumatic tires make it the most versital wagon for all types of terrain; indoors, yard, beach, trail, or park. The depth of the cart helps to ensure that he will not accidentally flip out of the wagon when something attracts his attention and he leans to the outside. The wagon has a strong construction and is designed so the pull handle cannot turn far enough to pinch fingers. My grandson loved the wagon.

Durable wagon but watch for craftsmanship.
Bought this wagon for my grandaughter. We were so thrilled when it arrived. Once starting to put it together, we noticed several dents in the red part of the wagon. One of the dents was about the size of a dollar bill and very deep. I called the company and within 2 days a replacement arrived. Getting ready to assemble this new replacement and noticed it had 3 dents in it. These were not done in shipping, it had to be done at the plant. No scratches and it was well packaged. I was tired of waiting on getting a wagon to use. I put it together, which only took a few minutes. We still have a brand new red dented wagon. Beware of the product before spending energy to put it together. Inspect for dents firt.

1st birthday gift
Purchased wagon for grandchild's first birhtday. Wagon was easy to put together and very sturdy. Grandchild loves being pulled around in the wagon. Glad I made this purchase over other wagons with sides intended for this age child.

Not a collector's item but pretty impressive
If you want a ding-free, perfectly formed metal wagon you'll have to go to a store and inspect the product before taking it home. They are clearly allowing defects through to the paint finishing stage. That said, as long as we're not paying full msrp, it assembles as intended, and we're going to bang it up anyways, it's really no big deal. I love how it continues to coast a little bit on its own momentum even on carpeting. Turn radius is good enough in the house so it should be plenty adequate outdoors. I also found the assembly instructions to be barely complete but somehow they managed to make the cotter pin idiot proof -- I couldn't get it through with the nut on tight but it did just fine when I stopped at "snug" as per the instructions. It's a simple and well thought out piece of work. I've seen 30 year old Radio Flyers rusted through so I think this will need to be housed indoors if you want it to last.

Love this Wagon
We bought this wagon for our granddaughter's first birthday. She loved it and the high sides and stability made it safe for her to ride in. It arrived in good shape and was very easy to put together.

Great Wagon
I bought this wagon mainly for my two kids. We moved to a house in a small town that has lots of dirt/gravel roads and few sidewalks. The oversized tires make it a smoother ride for my munchkins. I love that I could find a wagon with the front axle connected to the handle. Those free spinning front wheels on plastic wagons don't work at all on rough surfaces. We have gotten so much use out of this wagon and I like it way more than a stroller. It was definitely worth the money!

Sizable but fits in rear of hatchback; wish it had a wheel lock

It rolls like a dream on brick sidewalks or pavement. I could easily drag it along with two large 3-year-olds in it. When pulling it across the grass, the two-boy load definitely felt a lot heavier. One thing I would add if I could is a wheel lock (like baby strollers have) to make it more stable as the kids are climbing in or out, or when it is "parked" on a slope. I would also put bright red or white padding on the handle, not only for comfort reasons but to make it easier to see in the "down" position so that people are less likely to trip on it. But add the wheel lock and quick-remove sides (that you don't need to screw in) and I would definitely give it 5 stars; it's a fun toy.

The next part of this review is for the non-SUV owners out there who want an all-terrain wagon that will still fit in the car.

We decided to get a wagon we could take on day trips and longer trips because our three-year-old has almost outgrown the stroller. So it was important to get something we could use not just around the neighborhood, but that would fit in a normal-sized car. I considered this version as well as the all-wood version which also had the all-terrain tires. The reason we decided to go with the steel and wood model is because this one is two inches shorter. The all-wood model is 40" long and this one is 38" long. That 2" made the difference for me - see the photo I posted of the wagon in my car; it barely fits across the back of a Honda Fit hatchback. So the size worked out just right for us. The main drawback that I see with this model is that you can't easily remove the sides like you can with the all-wood model - they are screwed on with three screws on each long side and two on each end. Depending on the dimensions of your vehicle some people might do better with the wood model that has easily-removable sides even though it's two inches longer.

When you look at the dimensions listed on Amazon.com, bear in mind that the size listed does not include the wheels, and the wheels don't fold in.

Great Solid Wagon
I just received it last night and my husband assembled it. It is a solid sturdy wagon with nice big wheels. I bought it when the price was a bit more than 0 and i think it is a steal for the quality. I can't wait until I use it with my 2 year old daughter. We are planning on bringing to Cape may this weekend.

Kids love to pull this wagon.
I bought this wagon for my Godson's 2nd birthday. He has actually spent more time pulling it around than he has riding in it - the air-filled tires are the best feature for this reason; so easy to pull even a 2-year-old can do it! Assembly was a bit time consuming, but relatively simple once I found the right tools (use a wrench in one hand and the screwdriver in the other to attach the wood sides). I wish it came with a couple extra screws & nuts, the one that attaches the handle to the wagon worked its way out after a couple weeks, so I borrowed a nut from one of the screws holding the wooden sides to replace it. This time it seems to hold. The high sides are nice for small children, you're not worried about them tipping out the back accidentally.

Great Gardener's wagon
I use the wagon for various gardening work, either hauling my tools or garden materials. It is not quite as durable as some of the same price wagons sold for this purpose, but far more adaptable for other things, like pulling groceries & kids.

Nice Wagon
This Radio Flyer Wagon was easy to put together and seems to be pretty durable...we've only had it a short time. It's very spacious and my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter even took a nap in it! I would recommend this wagon to anyone with toddlers.

This wagon is being used for cowboy action shooting events. It was easy to assemble, but I had to take the tires out of the garage until I was ready for them in the assembly process (strong plastic type smell). Don't worry that new tire smell doesn't last long! I modified the wagon by adding an umbrella mount in the rear corner, using a 1" flange and 1x6" threaded pipe to screw into it to hold the 3/4" inexpensive K-Mart beach type umbrella. Also, I secured the removable sides by adding a screw through the brackets, so they don't come out when taking my shotgun or rifle from the sides. Oh, and I added some side mounts to hold the long guns. Additionally, I made a thin cushion for the bottom. All my other gear, (ammo, guns/gun belt/holsters, unassembled umbrella, lawn chair for sitting under my umbrella mount, and a small cooler for my lunch/beverages) all fit. I love this wagon! Sometimes, I even give my old dog a ride.

Highly recommend! LOVE IT!
My kids LOVE this. I can fit all 3 (ages 3,5 and 11 months)in it plus a few other things. It is VERY sturdy. It turns really easily, is easy to pull and the sides keep the kids in. This has been great for us. It is great with the canopy, too.

Great Wagon
This is a great wagon...we live on the water and wanted a wagon that would be resistant to rust. The bed and stake sides are wooden, the wheels are plastic, and with the all-terrain wheels are great for the sand...Our grandchildren love it.

Radio Flyer Ultimate Family Wagon - a great buy!
The wagon is large, but easily folds down to fit into most trunks or back seats. The front wheels are an unusual design becoming popular with toys that role since it makes tipping over nearly impossible. The seating is comfortable, although I would prefer more substantial seat belts easier to fasten and unfasten (but then in my childhood a seat belt for a wagon would have seemed quaint!). My granddaughters love this wagon for being taken to our local park, and have even asked "just for a ride".

Radio Flyer Ultimate Wagon
Absolutely the perfect gift for my granddaughter. She is 3 years old and has a 3 month old sister. She loves to try to pull anyone in the wagon (and it does handle adults in it with no steering or load problems at all) and loves for us to push her as well. She can't wait until her sister can get in it with her. She likes that she can use it with the table to color, the canopy in case, as she pointed out, it rains. It is very well built and I would definitely recommend this.

Radio Flyer Ultimate Family WagonTM
I bought this toy for my two young daughters as a christmas present. So haven't really gotten much use out of it yet. I love the idea of the versatility in seating, and of course the cup holders for the driver. After using a dual stroller without cupholders I decided to pay the extra money for a model that included the extra cupholders. It was easy to put together and seems like it will be very durable. The shade is a little awkward to put on and store and doesn't seem like it will be very effective coverage for two occupants. But that's not what I bought it for, so hasn't affected my review.

GREAT WAGON
We got this wagon for our 10 month old for Christmas and he absolutely loves going on wagon rides! It is nice that the seats have seat belts so that we can keep him in place since he tries to crawl/walk all over the wagon. It is also perfect because we make the seat in front of him flat so that we can put the lazy wiener dog in the wagon with him in her bed. They love riding together. Even with both in the wagon there is plenty of room to store things under the seats and bring drinks to put in the cup holders! Overall great product and looking forward to using it more once the weather warms up!
