Razor for jake
Great product for younger kids. Very cool looking, too.
Unfortunately, it was a gift for my grandson, and I was told that he already was able to use a 2 wheel scooter.
I was pretty impressed with [...], and would do business with them, again.
They provided all the info., and shipping labels I required, for my
return, in a quick and efficient manner, and credited my account, rapidly.

Cool Scooter...Good Exercise
My daughter who is 8 loves this scooter. It is nice to see her out playing rather than inside! Her friends all like to ride it too. I just wish it had a higher weight limit then I could try it! I'd recommend this for boys or girls.

My granddaughter loves this scooter. Now her sister wants one. Came on time before Christmas. It's a little pricey but they enjoy it.

My boys love it.
I have two boys, ages 4 and 9. They both love their scooters. My husband did not think our 4 year old would be able to use it but he does wonderful on it.

Amazon.com Product Description:
Want to give your child a little off-road entertainment? Turn to the Razor dune buggy, the ultimate in electric-powered backcountry cruising. Outfitted with a powerful 350-watt motor designed to reach speeds of up to 10 miles per hour, the buggy is fast enough for serious fun, but slow enough that it won't compromise your child's safety. Parents will also appreciate the side roll cage, which creates a barrier between the rider and the outside, and the padded bucket seat, which includes a seatbelt for added security. And thanks to the buggy's specially designed reduction drive, the vehicle is capable of both lower torque climbing and high torque gearing. Perhaps the coolest feature, however, is the fully electric design, which is not only easy to charge, but requires no fuel at all, runs quietly, and produces no emissions.

Other details include eight-inch knobby pneumatic tires, an active rear suspension, a durable tubular steel frame with diamond-plate floorboards, hand throttle and brake controls, a rear disc brake, and a safety flag. Ideal for difficult tracks and terrain, the buggy supports up to 120 pounds of weight and is suitable for ages 8 and older.

Perfect gift for a young boy !!
I bought the Razor Dune Buggy for my 8 year old son for Christmas. I looked at other dune buggies but was not at all interested in gas powered ones (way to smelly and dangerous). I was looking for something that did NOT look like a toy (no Fisher Price plastic ride-on electric motorcycle type stuff). But I also did not want something that was too powerful. This Razor buggy is perfect. It goes fast enough to give him a thrill but not so fast to make me worry. It charges up overnight and he can ride it for 45 minutes which is plenty of time. From the picture of the buggy it looks short, like your child's knees will be bent when riding it. Turns out, it fits him just fine (he's average height for an 8 year old), he is perfectly comfortable on it and his knees are not bent too much and they are not in the way of the steering wheel. We've owned it for 2 months and love it. IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW: if the weather is going to be below 32 degrees outside at night you can't leave it outside (or even in the garage). Below-freezing temperature drains the battery life. So we store it in the utility room in the winter at night. It weighs about 70 pounds (not light!) so moving it into our utility room at night is a little cumbersome. It's worth it though b/c he loves it. You can't put a price on his delighted laugh everytime he rides it!

great little dune buggy!
I was quite apprehensive when my husband purchased two of these for our 6 year old grandaughters. I was very pleased when I saw them begin to ride. 10 MPH sounds fast until you see it. The controls are easy for them to reach and handle, the buggies actually stop when you let off the throttle. The charge time is good, at least 30 minutes of ride time. I would not purchase them if I did not have ample and SAFE yard area and HELMENTS ARE A MUST! A lot of fun for our girls!

Razor Dune Buggy
We bought this for xmas for our 6 year old daughter. We took it out of the box, adjusted the tire pressure's and off she went. She loves it rides it almost everyday. There has not been one problem with it. We have a dirt yard and she motors through it all. We would buy this again for sure!

Close to Perfect
This has proven to be a fun and reliable toy for my 5 year old son. He absolutely loves it. The build quality seems solid and my only real concern is the parts supply drying up in the future on things like throttle switches, etc. There are a few niggling things that I would change, but I am sure they would add to the cost of the product.

-The throttle is operated by your thumb, which works fine, but my son is always complaining that his thumb hurts and he has to take a break. I have rotated it up from where it was in the box, and that helped some. I would have a throttle pedal and leave the brake on the steering wheel.

-The dune buggy has no reverse switch. We are going to add something ourselves. There have been a lot of situations where having reverse for a three point turn could have saved frustration. Power Wheels have it, why not this?

-The tires wear very quickly. This stems both from the tire's tread design and that fact that the buggy has a solid rear axle. The axle is a great way of keeping costs down, but the tires could be a better design. Our tires have worn so quickly that I am thinking of buying 8 of them so I can assure a supply for the future. I am also planning on looking for different tire choices from industrial suppliers. There might be something that fits that was originally made for a caster or something.

-Our son is only 40 lbs. and that doesn't activate the rear suspension at all. The spring seems pretty stiff for the application, even with the preload backed all the way off, meaning that the suspension at this point is just a gimmick.

Was the best purchase we ever made for our kids until it stopped working
Stopped working after 9 months. Razor only warranties their stuff for 90 days. Really crappy if you ask me. I'll never buy another razor product.

Razor Sharp!
I bought this little dirtbike for my son a few years back. He was 6 years old at the time and had been riding a bicycle for almost 2 years so I figured the next logical step was something like this. With a little instruction he got on it and took right off like he'd been doing it forever.

I will say this - it says on the box for kids 12+ and I think thats bad advertisement... my son enjoyed it for about a year and then I had to upgrade him to a gas powered bike so he could ride on a little rougher terrain and go up hills. He can still ride the razor but its better suited for flat paved surfaces. A 12 year old would have fun on this thing for about 1 hour - its just not powerful enough to lug them around.

That being said our bike was reliable and has lasted through two kids learning. Its awesome for beginners and thats really all it should be bought for. Make sure to buy helmets and pads too - I see too many kids on these things with no protection. Teach them young.

Great gift
I bought this for my 7 year son at Christmas. He can handle the bike is a safe manner. He absoultly loves being able to ride around the neighborhood and go to friends houses. He is very responsible about following the street rules and wearing his helmet because he wants the privilege to ride. It is easy to steer and it charges fast.

not so great
Purchases the Razor MX350 for a 5 year old to learn to ride before going for the real thing. It is very slow to start and takes a while to gain speed, also its all or nothing...you can't regulate the speed, I was not impressed. Also, it is pretty much powerless riding on grass unless it is cut very short and completely dry and no shocks at all. Be sure if you are purchasing this it is ONLY for neighborhood street riding....not dirt or grass.

MX350 = joy for my son.
This bike was easy to put together and so far has been a lot of fun for my stepson. Once the battery is dead, he watches it running back and forth until it is ready to run again. It has been a bit cold lately, but he has gotten a ride in every now and again. Needless to say, I say get one as a starter..

MX350 Dirt Rocket Excellent Choice
I bought this bike for my 5 year old son for Christmas. He loves it. He handles it very well. He rode this bike for an hour and the battery charge was excellent. I highly recommend this Razor MX350 Dirt Bike to all. It is great for his size therefore the recommeded age 11 I think would be a too big for this bike.
