Bought this for our grand daughter who turned 7 in August. She loved it and no problem getting into the "swing" of it. It is very well made and is a lot of fun for kids in this age group. Do suggest wearing a helmet though since they forget how fast they can go.

Very disappointed
I bought this as a gift for my son's birthday. Where is is certainly my fault for not opening the box a week ago when it came - I wouldn't have been able to resolve it in time anyways as his birthday is tomorrow. We opened the box to get ready for his birthday surprise in the morning and were shocked to find out that it is damaged. While it won't affect the performance of it - I'm pretty ticked off that it was clearly painted over and has several deep scuffs and is not in any type of new condition other than the wheels. For the amount I paid for this it is absolutely ridiculous!! I will post photos of it so you can see what I mean.

Starting a trend
In a neighborhood where RipStiks were the hot item, the PowerWing is causing a scene. After seeing one of his friends sashay down the street on one, I bought this for my nine-year-old's birthday. He and my 12-year-old assembled it and he was off. Now the eleven-year-old across the street and the six-year-old next door have them, too. I love that this is a less insane device than the RipStik allowing more balance and control for the younger set, however I only gave it four stars because tight turns do regularly dump the rider. Wear your helmets guys!

A Real Scooter
This scooter is wicked fast. Make sure the your kid does not ride this scooter unless they have a helmet and all pads. Enjoy

Razor PowerWing Caster Scooter
I bought the pink PowerWing for my 5 year old daughter and she loves it.
It was a last minute decision and got it on time. Amazon really came through!

Fun, Fun, Fun!
We bought this for our 5 year old son. He absolutely loves it.
He had a battery powered car that we would zip around the cul de sac with, but that lost its luster real quick. He loves the speed and being able to maneuver around an "obstacle course" (cones) is a breeze. One of the best things, in my opinion, is it's extremely quiet and he can actually hear me calling him in for dinner!
Well worth the money, we have already ordered another one- for our 8 year old daughter...

Just what we were looking for!!
Kids love it!!! Step up from a kids Gator but not as dangerous at a real 4-wheeler!! Easy to put together!! Would be nice it Battery ran a little longer. Kids got the hang of driving it right away!

Excellent product for the price!
We ordered this product for our daughter, who is almost 5. Her daddy had been wanting to purchase some type of ride-on toy, such as a 4 wheeler. We went with the Razor Dune Buggy because it was low to the ground, which we thought would be a little safer for a beginning rider. The product arrived promptly, was mostly charged when we took it out of the box. We have had no problems with it, and the thumb throttle is easy for young riders to master. My only complaint would be that there is no reverse, so if she gets herself in a jam, it is a little bulky to pull out and turn around. As I said our daughter is not yet 5, and maybe a little tall for her age, but she fits the dune buggy just right. She loves it, and is upset on days when it is too rainy to ride. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a ride on toy for those graduating from the small battery operated quads, etc that only go 2 mph. We are extremely happy with our purchase so far, and have had it for nearly a month.

Don't order razor products!!!!
The Dune Buggy arrived, got charged and........... worked for 10 minutes. We located a Razor Service Center and waited for 3 weeks on a part. When the part arrived, it turned out that Razor got it wrong and had shipped the wrong one. We had called the Razor customer service line various times and all they refer to is their: we can only do troubleshooting or order parts motto. By the time the correct part eventually arrived, the return policy with Amazon had expired. And, guess what: the Dune Buggy got fixed by the Service Center, got charged up and.............does NOT work again. I am now faced with another trip to the Service Center, have them diagnose the problem, wait 10 business days for the hopefully correct required part just to see the Razor's warranty expire on us within another month.
Razor is not helping at all !!!! Stay away from ordering it online. Find the Dune Buggy in a store where you can return it, if it should be faulty ! My kids are super disappointed and so am I, since I spent 0 just to find the buggy at a Razor Service Center.

Excellent Gift, but not for recommended age of 13
I bought this for my 5 year old, and it is perfect for this age group. 5-8 would be ideal. They recommend only for 13 and up, but while it would be fun for them, it may be a little slow. I think they recommend for older ages to avoid law suits... It's ideal for the smaller kids, especially if they have out grown the 5 mph rides and are looking for something with a little more kick (probably around 8-9 mph on flat street), quick, but not like you can't catch up to it or anything like that a smooth job is about the speed. It has a throttle, so if the child wants to go slower until he builds up his confidence it can do that as well, which will be about 15 minutes later. It is very sturdy and strong, runs great on grass, roads, hills... I have no issues with battery life, my son get's tired long before it runs out of battery, but then he's on it again the next day. Be careful with parked cars as this is truly the most dangerous aspect. It is very low to the ground. Lastly, there is a brake, but it's pretty hard for smaller children to pull, but don't worry once they let of the throttle it comes to a complete stop pretty quick, within one adult car length. It's loads of fun, I wish I could ride it.

Razor MX350 Dirt Rocket
My husband and I purchased the Razor MX350 Dirt Rocket as a Birthday present for our son that was turning 6. This is exactly what he wanted and it couldn't be more perfect for his age. The dirtbike is the perfect size and speed. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a starter dirtbike for their 5-6 year old.

Worth every dollar!
We purchased this bike for our son's 5th birthday. He absolutely loves it! The size of the bike will be great for him for at least few more years. Great value for the cost.

be careful, this item is MUCH smaller than the 350 model, would not recommend for over 45 lbs, or age aprox 7...but if you lil one is smaller than that they will have the time of their life !these bikes are wonderful although the warrantee is short, they do provide a site for replacement parts. enjoy !

Razor MX350
Bought this for my son's 5th birthday. Small enough for him to get his feet flat on the ground. Realistic throttle, similar to gas powered dirt bikes. Excellent first motorcycle. Speed maxes out at 10-13 mph, but my son doesn't even go full out. He is able to stop or slow down easily, using the left hand brake. Electric motor needs no maintenance, just keep it charged! Motorcycle has NO suspension though. Not a problem for the little ones, unless they hit a pretty big bump straight on....it'll give them a jolt. Haven't had the bike off road yet. Definitely WOULD recommend this bike for beginners. They get to learn the basics of handling, throttle control and braking. All skills they need to move up to larger displacement bikes. Great for building confidence.
Don't forget the gear!!! They definitely should have a full face helmet at the least. Hope this helps.

Very Satisfied
I was hesitant about getting my son a dirtbike at 6 but my husband insisted he would love it. Well, this is one time I can say my husband was right. I can't keep him away from it. He just loves it and has no problem handling it. He rides it off and on almost everyday since he's gotten it and the battery has only died once from a 12 hr nightly charge. He gets at least 45 min. of ride time a day, most days seems like much more. The best birthday present so far!
