It's easy to imagine the inhabitants of this Knight's Castle successfully defending themselves from an outside invasion. Kids will be impressed by the durable plastic pieces, which together weigh approximately 20 pounds. All the pieces have the look and feel of dusty, weathered stone, and the two towers are heavy enough that children younger than five may have trouble moving them.
Simple assembly instructions are included with the castle. All kids have to do is connect the drawbridge to its two hinges on the castle wall, slide the cobbled entrance road into place, and then fit floor pieces into each of the two towers.
As for where the towers and the six castle-wall pieces go, that's up to them! The pieces are designed to sit side-by-side in a number of different positions so that kids can rearrange them for important battles or other scenarios.
Raise the Drawbridge!
With a working drawbridge, kids won't have any trouble conjuring a misty Medieval landscape of knights on horseback. Chains connect the heavy-duty imitation wood-and-metal door to the drawbridge support, which can be raised or lowered on its hinges. Each of the two castle towers contain three floors, and all of the castle-wall pieces feature an inner ledge, where one can imagine a soldier patrolling the perimeter.
Sized to Fit Knight Figures
Children who own the Schleich hand-painted Knight figures (sold separately) will be delighted to find that this Castle's proportions are perfectly suited to them. Additional wall pieces and accessories like staircases or battering rams can also be purchased separately to expand the castle.

solid
The castle is well built and not fragile, but really do you need a castle to play with your nights? Buy more knights instead!

GREAT
How refreshing to have a quality toy for Christmas that does not break and disappoint! Can be compact or spread out.Love this toy,My son loves it too!If you get a deal on this grab it.

plastic
When I saw it on the net, I thought it would be a wooden castle. It is nice and works, but it is made of plastic. I thought overall it is a little overpriced

Well made but difficult to keep together
The castle comes in separate pieces which sit next to each other. I know it's for functinality. But the only function it serves is to fall down and lay in peices on the floor.
When it's together, the boys love playing with it. I just wish the three pieces interlocked.

Knight's Castle great for 2 years to 9 years
This was a Christmas present to our 4 kids from a grandparent- they have all enjoyed it. It really helps to encourage them to use their imaginations, and helps them learn to play together well. It will also be great for adding on parts as birthdays come around this year. We are very pleased with this purchase!
